Israeli soldiers invaded, on Sunday afternoon, the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem, and injured several Palestinians, including a volunteer medic, in addition to abducting three others.
Media sources said the soldiers assaulted many worshipers in al-Aqsa and hurled a concussion grenade at a medic trying to provide them with medical treatment, wounding him in the arm.
The sources added that the soldiers abducted three young men, one of them has been identified as Mo’ab Abu Khdeir, 22, who was also assaulted and injured, while they were in the courtyard near the Dome of the Rock.
It is worth mentioning that the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) earlier reported that its medics provided treatment to 37 Palestinians, including 14 who were moved to the al-Makassed hospital, after the soldiers assaulted them, and fired gas bombs and concussion grenades at them, earlier Sunday.
